Ramps

Ramps

Ramps are a series of objects that attempt to edit floor spaces, functioning visually and performatively in rooms, corridors and doorways. Here, an incline is used as a form that initiates an entry and formulates exit. In a way it expects participation but hides itself in the accessible playfulness. This pleasurable invitation sores high with capitalist intentions. It commodifies walking in spaces.
Its like the fresh wet nap instructional packaging that talks about an enhanced experience of an everyday activity. Power masked in a kind advice that's not needed. These objects are simple explorations of humourous function, body displacement and  spacial navigation.
